QuikGen is a utility program designed to assist machine
tool mechanics and service technicians in generating
CNC control programs for the following controls;

The programs
generated can be used in conjunction with equipment
designed for Linear Positioning, Straightness, Geometry
or Laser Diagonal Measurement. Programs can be designed
to run incremental (machine stops or dwells to take
reading, (i.e. Linear & Diagonal Positioning, Servo
Response, Periodic Error, etc.) or, On-The-Fly where
data is acquired while the machine is moving (i.e. Straightness,
Squareness, Roll, Pitch, Yaw, etc.).
QuikGen operates in the
Online and Offline modes! When operating Offline, QuikGen
is a stand alone program generator capable of generating
a CNC control program without interaction with other
programs or files. In the Online mode, the Targets (Start,
End and Increment are acquired from a Renishaw Laser
10 .RTA or .RTL file.

reduces the chance of collisions during machine calibration,
installation or repair

Incremental, On-the-Fly and Diagonal moves in just
seconds
- All Positioning moves
use Linear Interpolation (G01) with programmed feedrate
(No Rapid Traverse G00)
- Control programs include
integral looping commands improving speed of data
acquisition
- Linear program generation
include selections for Unidirectional, Bi-directional,
Unidirectional Continuous and Bi-directional Continuous
machine motion
- All programs are based
on Absolute (G90) positioning, which correlates measurements
back to the machines feedback system.
