History

Located in the heart of Rhode Island, MD Calibrations is a rapidly growing machine tool service company led by founder Michael E. Denomme.

Mike earned his engineering degree from Roger Williams University, and has acquired nearly 25 years of invaluable, diverse experience in the machine tool industry. He is a senior member of The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and a member of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

After spending ten years with his previous employer, Mike’s high-level contacts, flawless reputation for providing good service and top qualifications offered him the chance to pursue a lucrative career with any one of a number of major manufacturers – or to start up on his own. Fortunately for the industry as a whole, Mike chose the latter option, having recognized the possibilities of the machine tool calibration and certification market. The industry trends that identified these possibilities were:
